Conveniently located just 25 minutes from Oslo city center, our location allows for a seamless gear pickup on your way to the mountains.

When you choose our services, you can travel light and hassle-free. We offer a comprehensive range of top-quality equipment, ensuring you have everything required for your journey. Our offerings include complete mountain ski sets featuring Åsnes fjellskis with steel edges for optimal performance, comfortable and warm ski boots, reliable ski poles, and essential skins for uphill travel and sled work.

For a restful night's sleep in the wilderness, we provide sturdy expedition tents crafted by Helsport, renowned for their durability and protection against the elements. Our selection also includes MSR expedition stove sets, ensuring you can savor warm meals and hot drinks while exploring the great outdoors.

To enhance your safety and peace of mind, we offer sleds with harnesses and bags to efficiently transport your belongings. Additionally, our inReach satellite communicators keep you connected with home even in the remotest locations, providing a lifeline in case of emergencies.

Rest assured, we have not overlooked any detail. From maps to various other gear essentials, we have meticulously prepared to meet your adventure needs. And if you require luggage storage, we have you covered there as well.

Packages and Prices

Below, you'll find an overview of our products and services. If you're interested in renting multiple items, we offer package prices. We also provide a 10% student discount and group discounts. For larger groups, we recommend submitting rental requests well in advance to ensure availability.

Åsnes Mountain Ski Package (includes skis, shoes, poles, and skins):

• 1 day: NOK 399

• 3 days (weekend): NOK 899

• 1 week: NOK 1,599

• Extra days (1 week+): NOK 200 per day

Payment: We accept payment via Vipps or cash when picking up the gear. Larger groups can pay in advance through an invoice. A deposit of NOK 1,500 per mountain ski package is required, and it will be refunded upon return of the equipment.

Reservation: To make a reservation, please send us a message with the dates of the rental period. Don't forget to include your body length, weight, and shoe size so that we can provide you with the appropriate ski length and prepare the gear accordingly.

Gear Collection: Gear collection is available the day before the rental period starts, usually after 17:00.

Gear Return: We offer 24/7 gear return, allowing you to return the equipment at your convenience. Gear should be returned no later than 12:00 on the day following the end of the rental period.

Sled Package (includes sled, harness, and bag):

• 1-3 days: NOK 499

• Extra days: NOK 100 per day

NB: A deposit of NOK 500 per sled package is required, and it will be refunded upon return of the equipment.

Tent Package (includes tent, tent bag, and snow plugs): We offer Helsport Spitsbergen X-Trem 3 camp and 4 camp tents for rental. The Spitsbergen X-Trem Camp tent is a spacious and safe winter tent, voted "BEST IN TEST" in UTE's evaluation of winter tents.

• 1-3 days: NOK 799 (3 camp) / NOK 899 (4 camp)

• Extra days: NOK 200 (3 camp) / NOK 200 (4 camp)

NB: A deposit of NOK 2,000 per tent is required, and it will be refunded upon return of the equipment.

Stove Package: We offer MSR XGK EX and MSR Whisperlite packages, which are reliable choices for trips and expeditions in cold climates. The package includes:

• Stove with wooden plate

• MSR fuel bottles (887 ml per bottle)

• Fuel pump

• Wind screen

• Kettle

• White gas ("powerfuel")

Prices:

• 1-3 days (includes sufficient fuel for 3 persons): NOK 499

• Extra days (includes extra fuel): NOK 150

NB: A deposit of NOK 1,000 per stove package is required, and it will be refunded upon return of the equipment.

Sleeping Bags: We offer Helsport expedition winter sleeping bags with a temperature limit of -34°C. To ensure hygiene, a fleece sheet bag is included with the rental.

• 1-3 days: NOK 499

• Extra days: NOK 100

NB: A deposit of NOK 1,000 per sleeping bag is required, and it will be refunded upon return of the equipment.

Satellite Communication Device (Garmin inReach Explorer+):

• 1-3 days: NOK 399

• Extra days: NOK 80

• Additional costs for data usage apply.
